The WhispAway app is licensed to you under Apple's standard licence. These terms add what that licence doesn't cover: WhispAway Cloud.
Who we are
The app
The WhispAway app is licensed to you under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Dictation with the models on your own device costs nothing and has no limits from us.
WhispAway Cloud
WhispAway Cloud is an optional subscription. Your dictations are transcribed on our servers in Sweden instead of on your iPhone. These terms apply to it in addition to Apple's licence.
Purchase and price
You buy it through the App Store, at the price the app shows: monthly or yearly. Apple handles the payment.
Trial
New subscribers get 14 days free, once per Apple ID. If you don't cancel, the subscription starts when the trial ends.
Renewal and cancelling
The subscription renews automatically. To stop it, cancel at least 24 hours before it renews, in Settings › your name › Subscriptions. It then runs to the end of the period you have paid for.
Refunds
Apple handles refunds, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your devices
One subscription covers your Apple ID on all your iPhones and iPads. Family Sharing is not available.
Fair use
WhispAway Cloud is for one person's own dictation. It is not for automated use, for transcribing recordings in bulk, or for sharing with others. We may limit or end a subscription that is clearly used this way, after telling you, and refund the unused time.
Your first day
On your first day, the cloud types for free, for at most 24 hours, unless you turn it off during setup. We can end this offer at any time.
Availability
We work to keep the cloud fast and running, but we can't promise it always is. When it isn't, your iPhone's own models type. We may change the models we use when better ones become available.
Your words
What you dictate is yours. We claim no rights to it. We process your audio only to return its text, and then delete it; see the privacy policy.
Using WhispAway
Use WhispAway lawfully. Speech recognition makes mistakes, so check important text before you send it. We aren't liable for losses caused by a wrong transcription, except as the law requires.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we'll say so in the app before the change takes effect.
Law and disputes
Swedish law applies. If you live elsewhere in the EU, you keep the consumer rights of your own country. Contact us first if something is wrong. If we can't agree, you can turn to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes, Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN), and we will take part.
